Virtual or in-person?

How we decide whether you need an office visit.

Every patient is different. We'll help you choose the visit type that best fits your concern — you never have to figure it out alone.

Virtual Visits

Often appropriate for

  • Medication follow-up
  • Lab review
  • Weight management
  • Minor illnesses
  • Chronic disease follow-up
  • Lifestyle counseling
  • Mental wellness follow-up

Office Visits

May be recommended for

  • Annual physicals
  • Hands-on examinations
  • Certain acute conditions
  • Whenever clinically appropriate

The appropriate visit type depends on your symptoms. If an in-person evaluation is recommended, we'll help schedule it.

In an emergency

When you should seek emergency care.

Stable Health Care Services is a primary care practice, not an emergency department. If you or someone you're with is experiencing any of the symptoms listed here — or any other life-threatening emergency — please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department immediately.

Call 911

Seek emergency care for

  • Chest pain
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Stroke symptoms
  • Severe bleeding
  • Loss of consciousness
  • Severe allergic reactions

Or any other life-threatening symptom. When in doubt, seek emergency care first — we can help coordinate follow-up afterward.

Our philosophy

Treating more than symptoms.

Listen Carefully

Understand your concerns before recommending treatment.

Find the Cause

Look beyond symptoms whenever appropriate.

Create a Personalized Plan

No one-size-fits-all medicine.

Support Your Long-Term Health

Primary care is a partnership, not a single appointment.

Common Questions

Questions about what we treat.

If you're not sure whether your concern belongs in primary care, these answers usually help.

Can I establish primary care?

Yes. Stable Health Care Services is designed for long-term primary care relationships. We welcome new patients who are looking for a continuous, dedicated provider.

Do I need an in-person visit?

Not always. Many concerns can be fully addressed virtually. When an in-person evaluation is clinically appropriate, we'll help you schedule it at our Olympia Fields clinic.

Can I be seen virtually?

Yes. Secure virtual visits are available for many primary care needs, including follow-ups, medication management, lab review, weight management, and many acute concerns.

What if I'm not sure what appointment I need?

That's completely okay. Reach out and describe what you're experiencing — our team will help match you with the right visit type and provider time.

Can you manage chronic conditions?

Yes. We provide ongoing management for common chronic conditions including high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, asthma, thyroid disorders, and more — with follow-up built in.

Can I schedule preventive care?

Absolutely. Annual physicals, wellness visits, screenings, lab reviews, and preventive counseling are a core part of our practice.

Still deciding? Booking takes about two minutes.

You can choose an in-person or virtual visit as you book — and if you'd rather ask a person first, we're glad to help.
